Our Condolences

Vale Janice Bate - 21/1/2025 We pass on our condolences to Son Chris and family on the passing of Janice Bate. Janice and husband Weston Bate regularly attended Odd Bods functions, and their contribution was significant and highly respected.

Vale Geoffrey Clark - 26/12/2025 Our condolences to Daughter Robyn and the wider family on the passing of Geoffrey Clark. Geoff was a regular attendee at Odd Bods functions on ANZAC Day and respected particularly for the role his family played as they hosted Australian Aviators at their home in England during WW2.

Vale Mabel Parry - members will be sorry to hear that Mabel Parry (wife of Odd Bod Doug Parry) passed away on 2nd April 2021 at the age of 95. A service celebrating Mabel's very productive life was held at Burwood, Melbourne, today (12/4/2021). Mabel was a regular attendee at Odd Bods functions. We pass on our condolescences to Doug, Greg, and Sue Parry, and family.

Vale Marie Matta - A true friend of the Odd Bods, Marie Matta, (widow of Odd Bod Owen Matta) passed away on Remembrance Day Monday 11th November 2019. Our sincere condolences to the Matta family.

Don Sinclair, National President of Ryder-Cheshire Australia from 2002 until 2010, passed away on Sunday 12th January 2020. Our condolences to Don’s family and his work colleagues at Ryder Cheshire.

Margaret Ellen Jackson passed away on 23 Dec 2018 aged 96.

Margaret was the widow of Odd Bod member Flt Lt Peter Bowen Jackson 409836 DFC DFM.

Our thoughts are with Michael Rossiter and family on the passing of his Mother Terre Rossiter - 28/9/2017.
